Mom and Croix: I only get 6 weeks off this time which is really hard for me, so im trying to slow down and just enjoy my time. Corey has been super busy with work and activities. One week after Croix was born he left for vegas to be a groomsmen in our good friends Pat and Marie Morgan's wedding. Then this last weekend he went hunting in Montana with his grandpa so we are excitied to have him home for upcoming weekends! So here some pics of snugglin and a little (a lot) of kid bribing (Tuiti Fruit). They have been really pretty good but it will be nice not to be single parenting it for awhile. Having only 6 weeks off, really had me nervous cause our old daycare stopped and went back to work, but bless Auntie Janet for taking our sweet baby boy and snuggling him for the first 6 weeks when I go back to work! January is still in limbo- Dr. Becker is running for House of Rep in District 7 if he wins I will be pretty much off till May 1st so waiting till Nov. 6th to make any future decisions. Hoping for a win to have some extra time off with my little one.
Brody: He started a new daycare and preschool in August at Christ the King in Mandan. He goes to preschool M-W-F mornings and he really likes it. He goes to daycare about 5-8 hours a week right now usually after preschool M-W to help with hauling Croix out and about so much. Otherwise I would drop kids off at 845, have to pick brody up at 1125 and then go back and pick adi up at 330 and plus it keeps him in routine for when i go back to work. He is a really good big brother. He is huge into the avengers and anything with weapons. The second pic is him showing off his new avengers shirt and hat from Nana B. And last but not least he is old enough to try out some sports. First choice is hockey so he started an intro to hockey camp last friday and its learning how to skate. Im not gonna lie the first 10 minutes friday i almost cried, he couldnt barely stay on all four, it was so hard to watch him struggle but it got better and when he got off the ice his words "That was awesome" so then i fiqured he'll be just fine!!
Adisyn: She is super busy with school and loving it. She loves on her brother ALOT and gets in a little trouble cause he will be sound asleep and she just HAS to go love on and kiss him cause she is the only one that doesnt get to see him all day so she says. We had a little mom-adi and croix day and got pedicures, it was her first one- thinking im a little bit of a terrible mother since she is 6! Just for Kix dance started and so she does that one night a week and this year she begged to be in Girl Scouts, its only one night a month so thats good! So all keep us in mind come Cookie Season- well be hitting you all up!!
YES this is adi in hockey gear- the coach at Intro to Hockey kept telling adi that she couldn't believe she was just watching and not playing and so saturday they talked her into it and suited her up, at first she said "I just want to learn how to skate, I dont want to play hockey" and after the first night she was pumped and wants to be in the regular season and play with a stick!!! So yes for now we have 2 hockey players giving it a try!
